This project was a proof-of-concept for installation of solar panels on a carport.  The business question was whether carports were desirable from a customer-service perspective, and whether they can be installed in a manner that is visually-pleasing and cost-effective.  The business case for investing in solar installations at parking lots owned by the public transit agency was successfully proved.
